She holds a PhD with distinction from the Medical School of the University of Athens, with a dissertation focused on health technology assessment in the management of lung cancer. She is a graduate of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Athens and holds an MSc in Public Health from the same institution, with a thesis on hospital-acquired infections. In addition, she holds an MBA from ALBA Graduate Business School, with a specialization in Strategy and Marketing.

Since February 2022, she has been serving as Non-Executive Chair of EOPYY (the National Organization for Healthcare Services Provision). In July 2022, she was appointed Chair of the Negotiation Committee, where she has been a member since December 2019. She previously served as Vice President of the General Hospital for Chest Diseases of Athens “Sotiria” (2013–2015).

She also represents Greece at the Council of Europe as a member of the Committee of Experts on Pharmaceutical Questions and Pharmaceutical Care (CD-P-PH), which provides recommendations to the Committee of Ministers.

She has more than 20 years of professional experience in the healthcare sector, across both the public and private domains. She has served at the National Organization for Medicines (EOF), as well as a hospital pharmacist at the University Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI), where she led and was scientifically responsible for the newly established central cytotoxic drug reconstitution unit. She has also held mid- and senior-level positions in pharmaceutical companies.
